How tight should a postpartum belly band be?

It should feel supportive, not restrictive. You should be able to breathe, sit, stand and move comfortably. If you experience pain, numbness or unusual pressure, loosen or remove the belt.

Can I use a postpartum belly band after a C-section?

Abdominal binders are sometimes used after a C-section, but every recovery is different. Ask your healthcare provider when it is appropriate for you to begin wearing one, and avoid uncomfortable pressure on or around your incision.

Can I use a postpartum belly band for diastasis recti?

A postpartum belly band can provide external abdominal support, but Belly Armor is not intended to diagnose, treat or correct diastasis recti. If you have concerns about abdominal separation after pregnancy, consult your healthcare provider or pelvic health professional.

When can I start wearing a postpartum support belt?

Postpartum recovery is different for everyone. Follow your healthcare provider's guidance, especially after a C-section or if you experienced pregnancy or delivery complications.

Can I wear it directly on bare skin?

For best comfort, we recommend wearing the belt over a thin layer of clothing rather than directly against bare skin.

Can I sleep in the postpartum support belt?

We do not recommend wearing the belt while sleeping.

What size should I order?

Belly Armor comes in one adjustable size, fitting approximately 25–43 in / 64–110 cm.

Measure around the widest area of your abdomen where you plan to wear the belt.

Care: Remove the detachable back supports before washing. Hand wash gently in water below 86°F / 30°C. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Air dry completely.
